ABOUT

I am a multidisciplinary artist b.in 1987 , originally from Siauliai, Lithuania and currently living in Edinburgh, Scotland. Having finished my sculpture studies at the Edinburgh College of Art (2013) I have been mostly focusing on drawing, installation art, tattooing and expanding my tattoo design portfolio in addition to working various hospitality jobs. In 2018 my daughter was born and after a short break I started a small creative business under a name SOLID BONES. In 2019 I was offered a private studio in Bonnyrigg as part of Settlement Projects organisation where I have been working on my art projects since. In 2020 I started ceramic classes at Edinburgh Ceramics Workshop and taught myself rug tufting, and this is where my creative focus currently lies. My work is inspired by nature, folk art, surrealism, outsider art, medieval art and general life experiences which never stop to fuel me with ideas and emotions needing to be expressed through art practice.
